Activities in the honey producing sector began in 1910 with “La EslidenseApicola”, a company producing beehives. Later we devoted our attention to the production of honey and pollen and we were pioneers in the introduction of beehive transhumance in order to prolong the harvesting period and to establish a production cycle that is still maintained to this day.

The third generation, with Bernardo Sorribes as current director, launched the company onto the international scene during the early 1970s thereby associating the name MIELSO with the quality and traceability of our products and by adopting the most modern Spanish and European quality control systems, as well as by becoming the world’s leading company in the sale of pollen. At the present time, with the fourth generation, we are proud to present to our customers our own brand of packaged products of the very highest quality.
